Mysteries make you think

Sometimes you see something that catches your attention. Maybe you don’t understand what it is that you’re seeing, or it’s something that seems out of place, or you don’t know what happened to make it look like that. When this happens to me, I take out my phone and take a picture…and later, show or send it to my grandkids as a “piccolo mistero” or little mystery, and we talk about what it is or how it happened.

Below are a few examples of piccoli misteri I have shared with kids. At the end, there’s a link to a file that shows more examples, suggests some “hints” or “lines of investigation” and has the “solutions”.
