Un Piccolo Pokémon Mistero
Grandma Linda and I had an unusual experience today, which forms the basis for this mistero. The map below shows part of the communities of Madeira and Indian Hill. Our house (6625 N Clippinger Dr) is marked by the red asterisk. The blue numbers show the locations where we most commonly raid. 1 (Stephan Field) 2 (St. Gertrude Catholic Church), 3 (Madeira Fountain), 4 (McDonald Commons), 5 (Hosbrook) and 6 (Madeira Baptist Church).
OK, now we get to the heart of the mistero! Recently, we were sitting at home (*) and Grandma L saw that there was an Altered Giratina raid at Madeira Fountain (4)…and, great news: The weather on the Pokémon app was “windy”, which means the Giratina would be boosted! And, the time was 2:08 - since the weather is only updated every hour on the hour, we had plenty of time to drive over there (note the scale bar on the map - it’s not very far away) and do the raid before the weather would be updated at 3:00 and possibly changed to some non-boosted condition. So, we got there in plenty of time and quickly finished the raid and…….the Giratinas captured on all the apps WERE NOT BOOSTED! #%!!@^%#@&^!!
What could possibly be the explanation for this outrage?
